- Miss Doll pageants that have had at least one successful year. (MDAmerica, MDInternational, MDEurope, etc.)
- New promising Miss Doll pageants that have their own site. (ie. no forum pageants, no one-timers)
- Updates on major dolling sites
- Major forum updates

dA Contest - So I herd u liek progress? A Fan Art Contest
Want to participate in an official dA contest and earn a premium membership? (Plus other dA goodies!) All you need to do is remake or reinterpret an older character doll to show the improvements that you have made. Full rules and conditions of the contest are in the article. If you have any further questions, just comment on the article. A few ddoll-related questions have already been answered:
1.) A character doll must be Fan Art based meaning it is something that is based on a character, a world, or a story created and copyrighted by someone else. No real people, even if they are in a fictional story. (OCs based off an already copyrighted work are considered Fan Art too.)
2.) It must be of your own work meaning no collaborations (Though adopted bases are allowed as long as you give proper crediting.)
3.) Dolls are categorized under Digital Art for the contest.
4.) Older dolls that you wish to reinvent but are not on dA can be uploaded into Scraps.

dA Contest - Teach Us How to Doll Contest
All you have to do for this contest is submit a deviation that teaches people something about dolling. It can be showing the steps as to how to create a doll or a base or it could be a tutorial of some sort; ie. how to do hair, folds, base editing, etc).
Deadline is May 1st! All entries must be NEW!

Moepocalypse - Doll on the Hill Factory is gone. For those who do not know the story, the creators, Suzy and Ika, decided to not renew their website subscription. But fear not, Suzy has stated that DHF is not lost forever and may return in the future in a different form, for those of you who love the Moe bases. In the meantime, their Terms of Use still apply which means you cannot host their bases for others to get. It is still unsure if this applies to email swapping.

MDSith - The infamous and oh so evil, Miss Doll Sith, is back at it again this year. Dates and themes have not been announced yet but it is for sure to be as great as its debut season in 2009. Stay tuned! missdollsith.webs.com/
